Coming Home to Yourself in the Midst of Fear

There’s a lot going on in our world right now, and sometimes, it’s hard to know how to feel and/or to rectify the feelings we are experiencing with the energetic vibration that we feel we should be holding.

 

When it comes down to it, there are only two emotions—Love and fear. Everything else is a sub-category of these two states of being.

 

Throughout history, fear has been our natural response to things that we don’t understand. It was biologically wiring that led to the survival of the human species. But that’s old paradigm stuff, and it’s coming up for release because this new paradigm is based in Love.

 

Every thought we think and every action taken is an opportunity to bring ourselves closer to Love. If we give ourselves the opportunity to reflect on what we are choosing to power with our energy and intention. This means that each and every seemingly tiny thing we do acts as fuel for the state fo the world.

 

It’s time for RADICAL responsibility.

When we do things out of habit, or we lose lose control and get stuck in a loop of thoughts or actions, our mind has given its power away. We need to see where we are losing control of our energy and reclaim it.  

Here are 5 things that you can do right now in order to start to recognize and plug your energy leaks, reclaim your energy, increase your strength and stamina, and be more on-purpose:

 

• Set limits on how much media and social media you are consuming. It’s important to know what’s going on, but fear energy can suck you in and paralyze you—even when it’s not yours, empath. Get in, get the information, get out.

 

• Run your filters. If information doesn’t feel true to you, it’s not. Trust your gut. It knows the TRUTH. Question everything, and discard what you know is not yours.

 

NOTE: This is not an excuse to detach or not know what’s going on because you are “too sensitive.” There is some important information out there for you, AND you need to know where your energy, thoughts, prayers, resources, and intentions are needed in the world. 

 

• Make choices instead of reacting. When you have the information, take a minute to think it through, then tune into yourself. This allows for decision-making from a place of empowered choice, instead of moving about the world like a leaf being blown by the wind.
The feeling of powerlessness is a really quick way to lower your vibration and life force, as well as tax your immune system.

Choices=power.

 

• Listen to your body. Don’t override what he/she/they is asking you for—especially in times where your system is over-burdened.

Need more rest? Make sure you get it. No. matter. what.

Because of its innate intelligence, your system will often ask you for something before it’s even necessary. For example, feeling like you need more vitamin c or fruits and vegetables a week before someone else in your house comes down with the flu.

 

• Stay open. Sensitives tend to isolate as soon as the world gets hard or we feel drained. Stay open, Stay connected. Part of the new paradigm energy is to reclaim community and rely on each other for strength and support. This is honestly the fastest way to feel lit up and plugged in. And we all know that helping another through something makes us feel good and on-purpose, so why do we deprive those around us of feeling the same thing?

 

When you isolate, your heart begins to close. When you close your heart, you make an active choice to dim your energy. When you dim your energy, you are choosing to contract, which moves you closer to fear. When you close, fear wins.

 

Not sure how to begin to pull yourself out of some fear energy? Change a thought, move a muscle. Move your body—even if, and especially if, you don’t want to. It’s the quickest way to move energy and pull yourself out of a thought loop.

 

Remember the great paradox of life: The only time you can’t be hurt, is when your heart is fully open. 

Because, when your heart is fully open, you are in your full power Love is Home, Love Warrior.
