Healing for the World's Healers

Who Are the Angels (Really)?

Have you ever caught yourself wondering, “Who are the Angels, really?”

Are there actually winged beings flitting around the clouds with harps and halos? Or is there something deeper—something that can truly shift the way you move through this world?

Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on the celestial squad you didn’t even know you had on speed dial. Whether you’re brand new to the Angelic Realm or you’ve been chatting with Archangel Michael over coffee, this is for you.

Meet Your Celestial Dream Team
Here’s the truth: Angels are divine messengers. There are many realms and many types, but their mission?
To enact divine will—which translates to more peace, more love, and more light on this planet.

Spoiler alert: You are central to that mission.

Yep, you read that right. Helping you is literally their job description. And they take it very seriously. No eye rolls when you ask for help finding your keys or calming your chaos—they’re all in.

But here’s the catch: you have to ask.

The Free Will Factor
Angels operate with the utmost respect for your autonomy. Translation? They can’t just pop in uninvited. Unless it’s a life-or-death situation and it’s not your time to go, they’ll wait (im)patiently in the wings.

So ask. Ask for support, peace, guidance, clarity, or yes—help fixing that coffee pot.
Nothing is too small. Nothing is too big. If it matters to you, it matters to them.

Because here’s the cosmic truth: You are never a burden.

“But Other People Need Them More...” (Nope!)
Let’s squash this myth once and for all.
Calling on your Angels doesn’t “take them away” from someone else. They’re not limited by time, space, or logic as we know it. They can be with you, your neighbor, and your third cousin in Kalamazoo all at once.

You are not too much. You are not unworthy.
You are the reason they exist.

So drop that old story. Pick up the phone (or, you know, open your heart) and start making those Angelic calls.

Am I Bypassing God by Talking to Angels?
Short answer: Nope.

Long answer: When you call on the Angels, you’re not replacing God or the Divine—you’re co-creating with them. Angels were created to support you. So whether you say, “God, please send me the Angels I need most,” or just speak directly to your Angelic crew—it’s all sacred.

It’s about reverence. It’s about relationship. It’s about being willing to receive.

What Do Angels Look Like?
This is where it gets fun.

Angels are pure energy. They don’t have a fixed form, gender, or even a standard “look.” They might appear as orbs, flashes of light, a scent, a sound, or an overwhelming feeling of peace and love.

Sometimes they’ll look like a person. Sometimes they’ll feel like a hug.
And sometimes—like in my own first experience—your whole bedroom lights up and you hear a familiar voice speaking your name. (Not terrifying at all, right?)

They’ll come in the way that’s most comfortable for you, and they’re happy to tailor the experience.

Archangels: The Spiritual VIPs
Now let’s talk about the big guns: the Archangels.

These divine beings have expansive roles. Think of them like the exec team of the Angelic world. You’ll often see their names ending in “-el” or “-ael,” which means “of God.”

Fun fact: Archangels like Metatron and Sandalphon don’t follow the naming convention because they’ve actually lived human lives.

Each Archangel has their specialties—like Michael for protection, Raphael for healing, or Gabriel for communication—but you’re not limited. Call on who feels aligned. They’re not going to redirect your call because you didn’t pick “the right one.”

How to Call in the Angels
It’s simple. So simple.

We tend to complicate spiritual stuff—but your Angels are not grading you on technique. Just speak from the heart. Whisper, write, shout, sing—it all works.

And always check in with yourself:

  • Do I feel safe and loved in this energy?
  • Is my free will being honored?
  • Does this experience draw me closer to love?
  •

If the answer to any of those is “no,” it’s okay to say “stop” out loud and disconnect.

Remember: You are always in charge.

Final Word: You Are Never Alone
Here’s the message your Angels want to leave you with:

You are loved.
You are supported.
You are never alone.

And that challenge you’re facing? You don’t have to go it solo. Call in your Angels. They’re already drumming their celestial fingers, waiting for your signal.

You are worthy. You are ready. And you are divinely backed, always.

Feel the love? Share this with a friend who needs a little Angelic reminder today. And let me know—have you had an experience with the Angels? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear!
