This week, I had the opportunity to take a trip to the ER. (Long story, but all is well.) What I found along my journey was really interesting. Seeing who was there and why made one thing very clear.
We are pissed.
By we, I mean women.
There are huge numbers of us being treated for ovarian cysts—current or ruptured, and otherwise seemingly unfounded pelvic pain to the point of agony. The rage of the feminine is apparent, though it seems we are still internalizing it.
Our rights and our sovereignty were taken from us. And we, collectively, have said and done nothing. As individuals, many of us did some things, but as over 50% of the human race, we have not stood up for ourselves.
The uterus and ovaries are where we store unprocessed feelings of powerlessness and rage—especially in relation to the masculine. It’s where we put all of the anger we’ve been told is inappropriate when we know something is wrong, but do not feel able to use our voice or to change it.
Is it a coincidence that this is happening now? I’ve been working with healing and the Angels long enough to know that coincidence is not really a thing.
We are enraged. Even those who wholeheartedly believe that life begins at conception are having visceral reactions to the crime of their bodies no longer falling under their own jurisdiction. This violation is happening inside a country that was founded on the principles of freedom.
Some are coping by shoving this deep down inside to silence their own screams, hiding beneath the belief that “I am the exception. It will never happen to me.” Others have gone numb and are in denial. The rest of us, it seems, are filling up storage boxes in our feminine organs.
Here’s what we need to understand. When the power of the feminine is in full force, shit changes quickly, and this is threatening to the status quo. Controlling a woman’s power has long been seen as a remedy to this.
For generations, women have been discredited in society for expressing strong emotions. We’ve been deemed hysterical, overly emotional, hormonal, and the list goes on and on. This same idea has been used against us over and over when we seek positions of power. Yet the beauty and strength of the feminine is that she can feel all of the emotions at once, providing comprehensive catharsis. The feminine energy has endless range.
When women circle and work together, the creative force is unstoppable. The narrative has been changed over time to one of fear and competition in order to pit us against each other, preventing these dynamic gatherings.
But we are remembering and rebelling at the cellular level. Our insides are literally crying out for us to take our power back; to share our creative force with the world by raising our voices and unabashedly shining our light.
It’s time to give our anger the space to breathe and the right to surface. It’s time to transmute our anger into action.
Get involved. Speak your mind. Give up the old story of powerlessness and lack of control. Allow your inner Kali to surface. She’s the change-maker with her sights set on the good of the whole.
Once we allow the emotions to surface, we become open to the synchronicities that lead us to what comes next.
...and we might just save ourselves a trip to the ER...
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. When we are willing to feel, speak, and work together we can heal our deepest wounds, and in doing so create a beautiful wave of change in this world.
